The CA-6 Series Analyzers are a family of on-line sequential sampling analyzers that use Colorimetric technologies to perform an analysis. The CA6 Chromium is offered in three ranges 0-1.000 mg/L, 0-10.00 mg/L and 0-50.00 mg/L. The analyzer can be ranged as low as 0-50 ppb. Reagent 2, sulfuric acid solution, is added to the chromium sample and the reference measurement is taken. Diphenylcarbazide is added and color develops. The resulting color is directly proportional to the concentration of chromium present. Each analysis uses 0.3 ml of each reagent. Each analysis cycle takes approximately 8.5 minutes.
