The CA-6 Series Analyzers are a family of on-line sequential sampling analyzers that use Colorimetric technologies to perform an analysis. The CA6 manganese is offered in three ranges 0-200 µg/L, 0-2.00 mg/L and 0-10.0 mg/L. The measurement uses the Formaldoxime method with two reagents. Reagent 1, Sodium Hydroxide and Reagent 2, Hydroxylamine and Formaldehyde, are added to the sample. The formaldoxime develops an orange-red color that is directly proportional to the concentration of manganese present. Each analysis uses 0.20 ml of each reagent. Each analysis cycle takes approximately 8 minutes.
