The 2005008.VIT is a Chloride Ion Electrode Cartridge (CL). The measurement range is 2 ppm to 35,000 ppm, the temperature range is -0°C to 80°C. The 2005008.VIT has a silver sulfide/silver chloride solid state membrane. The CL electrode is designed for use in aqueous solutions only. Silver ion and sulfide ion must be absent from the sample, strong reducing agents, Bromide and iodide ions will react/poison the membrane requiring it to be polished to restore proper function.
